Learning Assistance Program
The Learning Assistance Program is designed to accommodate the needs of elementary and junior high school students who have learning difficulties. These pupils manifest a discrepancy between estimated learning potential and actual performance. These students usually require a small group setting and a great deal of assistance on a one-to-one basis.
Opportunity Room Program
The Opportunity Room Program is intended to serve students who develop at a slower rate when compared to their peer group. Instruction is individualized and in small groups. Integration is made available wherever appropriate. Students in the Primary Opportunity classes range in age from 6 - 10 years. Students in Junior Opportunity classes range in age from 10 - 12 years.
